The running tour organisation "Like Your Run" offers various guided sightseeing tours in Touraine, a UNESCO world heritage in France.
Visiting the cities of Tours and Montlouis-sur-Loire you will discover, Middle Age,
Renaissance and Gallo-Roman streets, the Loire Valley, world famous vineyards
and the park of the Château de La Bourdaisière.
Prerequisites :
- be able to run at least time/distance for the booked tour.
- be able to practice running.
- be at least 16 years old.
Useful information:
- tour defined in advance between you and "Like Your Run".
- the nature of the running surface can vary (asphalt,
sandy, uphill etc...). Do not panic, the guide adapts to the pace of the runner. The philosophy is always, have fun first.
- the maximum speed is 11,5 km/h, in order to enjoy the beautiful city (you can run slower).
- It is possible to make several short stops on the tour for explanations, takes photos and take a short break.
- Bring water and a cap, especially in hot weather. "Like Your Run" does not provide supplies during the tour.
- Muscle stretching at the end of the visit.
- Possibility to have a video of the tour...with you in it (make the request before the start of the tour or when booking)
